Jerry Bransford Pray you have the well behaved/strong/bulletproof Detroit Locker and not the EZ-Locker.

Cons_Table It is possible that it could be "both". Detroit makes a full case locker as well as a lunchbox locker. The only way to really determine what your jeep has is to pull the diff cover off. If you decide to do this (which is a very simple task) here are pictures of what to look for.

This is a Detroit EZ locker. It is Detroit's lunchbox. Just about every lunchbox will look the same.

This is the Detroit Softlocker...their full case locker.

Lunchbox or Detriot Locker

Hi All, I'm a new tj owner in here, and need your wise-ness. I was told my 01 had either a lunchbox or Detroit locker in my rear. Is there a way to tell without tearing it apart. The former owner said it had 456 gear front and rear. Is this enough info to figure this out. Thank
