|samoss58||Why is the quadramatic not preferred? I'm also being told Sometimes the starter spins out, but it starts every time and idles good right away. Is this a potential problem. Is there anything that I cold see right away that would be an immediate deal breaker? Leaks or rust in the wrong spots?|

The reason you are asking is because you are interested and want it, you've already said you are willing to take a small loss which is what it would be. If you can find anything not mentioned almost always can you get cash added. Try and ask for some cash, if not decide if it is what you want and if you can afford the fixes and then get it if you want. Like said above nothing is too big of a deal.|

|Nthedeepstuff||The inside and body look pretty straight. Back seat will run 2 to 3 hundred exhaust really not a problem. The only thing I see is if your bike is a solid 4 I'd ask for some cash. The all time 4x4 would be my problem and is a change that i would do but again that's just me.|

Looking at a 79 cj7.... Need opinions.
I am looking at possibly doing a Craigslist swap with my motorcycle with a 1979 cj7. Seller says it has a small tranny leak, could use an exhaust, and has some frame rust on the back but not too bad. My bike is worth a solid $4k. See his ad below. Can anyone help me with the value and exhaust costs. I'm okay with taking a small loss in value but don't want a money pit. Thanks.
