|99wranglertj||I figured out what happened. I had replaced a to light bulb the same day I tried to do this modification and apparently had pinched a wire when reinstalling the housing. I fixed this and now everything is working great! I attempted the modification again and it works just like it is supposed to. All is well!|

|99wranglertj||I did the same thing as shown, and there is a video on YouTube that showed exactly what I did to mine and now I don't had any fog lights at all haha.|

I just followed the instructions on the link you posted. My TJ is a1999, so I found the relay behind the glove box as shown at the bottom of the page. I pulled the relay on the right side as shown. The only difference is the pin to bend is the number 1 pin on mine, not the number 2 pin. The picture is correct, but on mine the pin bent in the pic is the number 1 pin.
When I put the relay back in it worked as described. Great free mod!

Fog Light dimming Override
I have a 99 Wrangler that I just put HID headlights in. I have a set of HID bulbs to put in my factory OEM fog lights, but I notice a problem. The fog lights dim when I am using my high beam headlights. With ordinary halogen bulbs this is not an issue. But with HID's they cant be turned on and off too rapidly or the life of the bulb can be compromised. Im sure there is a way to override this standard dimming feature but I can't figure it out for myself. I have tried what this post says to do but it didn't work for me: Fog Light Relay Conversion - GETAHELMET.COM
So if someone has another idea I would appreciate it. If I have to rewire them I guess I can do that, but would prefer not too. Lol.
