jpdocdave its taller than you stated, but buy stock replacement springs, and soa done well rides better than stock. no lift is gonna ride much better than what you have stock. new shocks will obviously help, but lift springs are stiffer than stock.

Ol' Red BDS or OME, I know Rubicon Express is a good quality lift but I heard a guy say his was bouncy, which wouldn't be good for your back. I'm sure there are plenty people here who have one of these three that can tell you.

LIft that rides good? anyone? bueller? hehe

I just recently had back surgery and it got me to thinking about my Yj ( I cannot take the ride at all) anyway it is currently stock with exception of a 2 inch body lift and 32s. now i am trying to find out if anyone has foudn a decent lift 2-4 inches that has a decent ride that will not kill my back. I am looking for any way to keep my yj but currently the ride is a bit rough. I know i am a transplanted XJ guy but even my 6.5 rustys lift on the XJ was better then the yj stock ride i have now.

I went through the sticky with the lift comparisons but wanted to know what you all thought would make a good riding setup.

thanks again for your time and sorry to be asking so many darn questions but I am home all the time on disability and learning anything makes my day better.

Sean
