Don't trust your dealer's service center.
Yeah, just a heads up when it comes to any service you may have done at a dealers. These people are busy, and some of the mechanics are in a rush just to get jobs done. I purchased a 2010 Wrangler Sport and had some issues with the service center, nothing serious and they didn't charge me a dime for the labour or parts. However, this past weekend I changed my oil for the first time. The drain plug was on way too tight, and the oil filter was not even finger tight. I know the mechanic missed this, no doubt in a hurry to get to the next job. We all know what would have happened if the filter came loose on the road, I'd be looking for a new engine.
So, please, check the work you get done at a dealer. Better still, go to a garage that you have a history with. I realize it's hard to do if you still have warranty on your vehicle, but it really scares me that something as simple as an oil change can be screwed up considering what could happen.
