RubiconRich yes in 72 AMC added 3" to the nose. yours is the stub nose CJ5
Note:you could get a Buick V6 in 65-71

JoeBot13 If you are asking about the one in your profile ... It's a CJ5 ... 69 is before amc took over so you are likely looking at a Willys F4-134 I4 engine

lynn Many CJs were built in 1969 with 4 cylinder engines.

So is 4 cylinder engine all the info you can give us to tell you what you have?

Give us pics, and the info from the serial number plate (8305 xxxxxx; 8322 xxxxxx, etc)

Well, if its not a truck or wagon, it should be a CJ (4wd)or a DJ(2wd)

Help identifying my CJ

I have a 1969 jeep but I am not completely sure if it is a cj or something else.
It has a 4 cylinder under the hood and mostly original equipment.
Any information people with a similar jeep might have would be much appreciated.
