Agr1144 Chicken corners or the la sal pass loop are excellent choices for a stock rig. Each are good for 4-5 hours. Check with the rangers about snow cover. There is likely snow still around on la sal in April. Get the book backcountry tours for Moab (or similar).

Moab for a mall crawler?

Planning on being in Moab around the last part of April for a few days, and would appreciate any info on the less technical, more scenic trails. I'm not a total novice, but not a rock climber either. Will be driving a totally stock '13 JK Sport, and it's gotta get me back home. Any suggested trails or other things I should be thinking about?
