Hello from Yuba City!

Hello! My husband and I are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our Jeep from Chrysler (we had to special order one because no dealer seems to carry manual anymore!). We are getting a JKU and are very, very excited. We have a 3 month old baby and opted for the 4 doors for that reason. My big brother lives in the Seattle area and just got a JKU as well, which he has had us drive a few times to suck us in. Haha.

I have a long history of being in the Sierras, playing on roads that aren't strictly roads. My dad had me and my brother up at a sweet little home away from home just south of Yosemite, at about 8000 feet, by the time I was walking. We never had a tricked out 4x4, but he still got us there in whatever we had at the time - Chevy Duster, a painter's van, etc. (My dad's a little crazy, needless to say.) We had our fun four wheeling too (ripped the transmission out of a Chevy Blazer.. That was fun.) I've always wanted a Jeep and now we're getting one and I can't wait. This will be my very first 4x4. Wahoo!

After ordering our Jeep, I see them EVERYWHERE around town (Yuba City, CA) and feel there MUST be a club I don't know about yet! I've been scouring the internet trying to find out if I'm right and have not had any luck closer than Grass Valley or Sacramento. Anyone know of one? I figure I can just ask a Jeeper in town once we get ours (it might be sort of weird to roll down the window of our Malibu right now - haha).

Anyway, thanks for reading! Can't wait to get started when our Jeep gets here in the next month or so.
