PaulisTJ Well their official rule is that you have to be active... i.e fishing or just not sleeping. But after certain hours I've taken "naps"

Just watch out for drift wood, esp. at night. Punctured oil pan isn't funny when it happens to you. The MD side of assateague is 24hr. Oh I should mention the ~$90 pass is for the 24hour one. I don't know what the others cost. Another bummer is that you are not allowed to camp in the orv area, only on designated camping sites. Also there are pumps at the entrance which is nice.

I don't care as much since I go just about every weekend but I think its a bit much for anyone only going a few times a year. I think its ~90 for ORV pass and around 30 for year pass to enter

AZ Buffalo Ive been there. Oakerkoke Island. We had a big ass fire and tons of fun. Played some miniature golf too. We tried to go in the light house, but they were repairing it. We made the trip from Ft. Bragg. The double ferry ride sucked ballz! Lol

Sand?

I've been wanting to find a beach where I could get my jeep out on the sand. Anybody know of a place? I'm from West Virginia but try to make several trips to South and North Carolina each summer.
