SuicideSaints I just installed these exact lights with the supplied wiring harness two weeks age on a friends JK. I wired and installed the switch between the ac outlets vents and his power window switches. I also taught him and explained things at the same time. From opening the package to everything cleaned up took about 2 hours. If it was just me working with no joking around or explaining I did my own in an hour and 15 min but I ran extra wire for a relay.

It really isnt hard to install. They come with wiring and a diargram (he brought them for quadratec). The only part that you have to pay close attention to is the switch mounting but thats only one hole and all there is to it is picking a place you want and making sure you dont go crazy with the drill.

I wouldnt pay that much even if it included the price of the lights. Just my opinion......

I just remebered those lights come with an adhesive strip on the switch plate so you wouldnt even have to drill anything if you didnt want to. I just looked at my friends diagram too and it does a good job explaining, the windshield mount brackets are pretty straight forward too.

lferd If it helps - I just ordered a KC foglight kit and like you lack the skills. But I'm gonna try it anyway. With all the info on the forums, elsewhere on the internet, and especially YouTube, I figure the odds are in my favor. Like most projects this will probably take me three times longer with four times the frustration - but I'll be satisfied when it's done. Good Luck!!

KC HiLites 6" Apollo Pro Series 100 Watt Long Range Lamp System with Stone Guards in

How long does it take to install KC HiLites 6" Apollo Pro Series 100 Watt Long Range Lamp System with Stone Guards in Black and the windshield mounts. Two area garages are telling me $325 to $$350 to install these. When asked why the wiring apparently takes the most time? Any thoughts on this? I wish I had the skills to do this job .
