lolpetewtf Just the sub, amp is separate. I did hang it on the tailgate but it did not work out so great so I took it off.

I haven't measured, but looking at the dimensions on the link I'm guessing that that would hang quite neatly on the tailgate if you were so inclined.

Does this come with an amp? Or just the woofer?

lolpetewtf Not a YJ, but this is in my JK. It is a down-firing, flat sub by Pioneer. It works great for me because I can store things on top of it since it is down-firing. If I need to move it I just either take it out with the disconnects or move it out of the way.

Soundy Many many years ago, when I worked in car audio, a co-worker put two 6.5" subs in an isobaric box wedged up behind the glove box of his Suzuki Sidekick. Had some pretty good jam for the size, really slick job. Still looking at ideas for my YJ - I have something in mind, but don't have all the parts yet...

Show me your YJ sub installs

Looking for a way to install a low profile 10" shallow mount sub in my YJ. Show me what you've done. If I use your idea, I will send you a $25 gift card. Not looking for anything in the center console unless it involves the 6.5 inch tuffy console. Would prefer to have it under a seat or mounted on the rollbar.

Show me whatcha got!!!!
