jokerchief462 Welcome to the forum!!! The YJs can be a little challenging because of their age. The leaf spring ride is harsh so if you have a choice go for a TJ and pick a 4.0 I6 engine you will be happier.

dabolt55 Welcome, I would go for the TJ with the 4.0L. A little buyist though... Good luck...

Hey Guys am new to the forum. The reason I joined is that I am interested in purchasing a used Wrangler S. I have never owned one before but have always had wished to have one. Now I have two kids in college and one of them is taking my sensible car, it is time, however, I have to keep costs of purchase down for the two above reasons!

Live in San Diego area and have found two on CarGuru one is a 1994 Jeep W S with 116,784 miles on it, cost $5826 and going down daily. The other is a 202 JW s with 98,400 miles and selling around $9500. This one is a manual which I am fine with and has a 16 engine. The 1994 is a 14 engine. All photos look good but really could do with some advice before I go check them out. I have to stay below $9,000. Thanks,
