BLK00TJ You may be having a common problem with a connection between the gauge cluster and the dash. When it happens, try pushing hard on the cluster and see if they come right back on. If they do, it is a connection issue. I had the problem a few years ago and pulled the cluster off, gave the connections a little tweak with a set of needlenose pliers and put it all back together. I haven't had the problem since. Some people recommend cleaning the connections and applying dielectric grease to improve the connections and protect them.

Gauges are dieing

Dam i dont know how to spell.....must be the hangover....

Here is the problem.

I start my jeep up and drive around. on the freeway i have no problem, but when i come to a stop at a traffic light or a stop sign all my gauges start to die. it starts with the gas, oil, temp, and bat. all of those gauges die. then the rpm gauges gives out. once i start going again all the gauges come alive again. i hate this. Odometer also reads P1687.

Can anyone help me?
