jokerchief462 Port and polish the cylinder head. Match the intake runners with the cylinder head. There are all kind of little time consuming but cheap things to do. Custom paint or powdercoating would look great. Check out 4bangers website and see what you can find they spend all their energy on squeezing more HP out the 2.5s.

Have a spare Jeep engine. Any suggestions on how to customize?

I have a 1993 2.5 engine on a parts jeep. The engine is complete and was in great running condition before the frame went bad on the jeep. I have a 1990 jeep that is in good shape that I will eventually swap the engine with. Just looking for advice because I am going to rebuild the 93 engine before swapping the two. Any modification suggestions? I'm going to strip and rebuild this engine from top to bottom so I figured if anyone had any ideas, I could deff use some input since I'll have the chance to implement any engine changes. Thanks!
