Myself, I used uppers and lowers for more adjustabilty and other factors.

Than just buying and bolting on. Not trying to discourage, just prepare.

|PStov98TJ||As far as I know upper adj. CA's are a must with a CV (DC) shaft because the pinion angle has to be dialed in to not cause the driveshaft to bind and vibrate. And adj. lowers are a good idea as well if you've got the money.|

|All Terrain JK||You will still probably need adjustable rear ca's to adjust pinion angle to changing tcase and driveshaft angles. Especially with TT.|

|homebrwd||Rubi will help, you'll still possibly need a new driveshift to account for the added distance between the transfer case and the rear differential once the tuck and lift are in place.|

You may have some things missing fro your costs, are you running a TJ or an LJ?
If a TJ you will need to get a SYE and driveshaft if you go with plan A and keep the budget boost in.
Plan B you may also need the SY and driveshaft but that tends to be on a Jeep by Jeep basis. Some lifting 3 inches need one, others dont. If the BDS plate lifts the transfer case at all, you will more than likely need an SYE and driveshaft.
I'd say go with the 3in lift for now, and save up to get the tummy tuck, sye and driveshaft. Also look into a lift with adjustable rear control arms to help adjust your pinion angle for the new driveshaft.

Need help making a decision
I have a 2" budget lift running stock 31"s, I have plans in the future to get a tummy tuck, but I want to get a bigger lift and 33"s before I do the tummy tuck. What are the pros and cons of each setup, and what would you do??
Plan A: Less money,
1" Body lift
Plan B: More money
Ditch the budget lift
BDS Belly Plate.
