KILRIK Quick question, if I just buy the bumper and end caps now, will I have to take the whole bumper apart later to install D-rings, winch guard, etc?
Just wondering, don't think that will really keep me from buying but I was just curious about that...

KILRIK Sweet! Thanks for the replies everyone!
I wanted to see how strong the aluminum version was just for protection purposes. If it will help me shed some weight, that's my main goal. Since I have a winch, I'm trying to keep the bumper weight down to offset the weight of the winch.

JReed615 The aluminum will be fine. If you can afford it, I would definitely go with aluminum.

MetalCloak Bumper Question

Considering picking up one of MetalCloak's "Frame Built Bumpers" but the main thing I want to know is if there is any benefit to getting the aluminum version over their rolled steel version besides the weight? I'm trying to cut weight down as much as possible but if that means that the bumper will crumple on impact, I rather just add the weight and get the rolled steel.
Also, if anyone has one of their bumpers, feel free to post some pics. Would love to see what configuration you're running!

Thanks guys!
