I see what both of you are saying. If I need 401$ I can take it. The pension is locked and only company adds to it off of a % of my salary not sure the % but anyway it's mine if I leave the company. Except I believe the govt will eat me up if I do any of what I mentioned.

If your looking for a motel "hatteras island inn" a rental house for family "windsong". That's the two we always go with.

Yeah if ya ever hit up the obx let me know definitely. Nothing like it.

ObxJeep31 Last year we had a time well, idiots who panic and take out their mustangs had a time when we got hit with 12". Usually we get a dusting where I'm at I'd say average 3" a year but that's a shot in the dark. It will be a good amount then a year or so not much. It's the southern ice that's crazy here. The western part in the Appalachian mountains that get it all the time.

ObxJeep31 Well come on lol. Word of advice if NC is in the plan stay away from Greensboro or Charlotte unless you like dirty or traffic jams.

Lots of people up here talk about retiring down south for the cheaper living. Property taxes and auto insurance are the two biggest reasons. Land down south is a benefit too.
