Jma20a i did the make your own disco's and they work fine, they have a tight fit and don't rattle at all, all the parts are grade 8 or better.

4point I would buy the RE or JKS units. The pin that the link attaches to should be rigid. Thats why the home made units wear out the pin and/or ruin the lower link bushing.

who has the best idea to make their own quick disconnects, or does it matter enough that i should buy the jks quicker disconnects...i look forward to the ideas
