|Jerry Bransford||X2, it's the clutch interlock switch. Personally, I would just permanently bypass it by inserting a 10 amp fuse into the #20 location (if I recall correctly) in the fuse panel behind the glove box. You'll just have to remember to have it in neutral or step on the clutch before starting the engine but we all managed to learn to do that for 80+ years before the lawyers insisted on that stupid clutch interlock switch.|

Clutch replaced and it wont' start!!
I have an 01 TJ that I replaced the clutch on this weekend, well attempted to. Took 12 hours in my garage, got everything taken apart and replaced the clutch got it all back together, now jeep won't start. All censors etc. are all hooked up, checked the starter, everything appears to be perfect. Any suggestions as to what I might have done to make it not start?
