I can also attest to HFT torque wrenches. I also learned the hard way (sheared a bolt right in half! ) that you want to use a torque wrench that has the torque spec you want well within its range - NOT near the end of it. I think accuracy drops near the minimum and maximum of the wrenches range.
Also I would definitely want that flywheel secured to the proper torque. You wouldn't want that disc-o-death to come loose!

A torque wrench that only goes to 80 ft-lbs? Is that a 3/8" drive? If so, that size just isn't as useful as a 1/2" drive ratchet wrench is that can be used on other items like the lug nuts. So yep, I'd go get a 1/2" drive clicker style torque wrench so the flywheel bolts torqued to their proper 105 ft-lbs. tightness.
A decent quality 1/2" clicker style (easier than a bar-style) torque wrench that goes to 150 ft-lbs. or higher isn't expensive, I only paid $20 for mine from Harbor Freight Tools & its quality is much better than I expected. I have been using HFT's torque wrenches (3/8" and 1/2") for 15 years & their accuracy and repeatability is more than good enough for what we use them for on our Jeeps. A skeptical buddy was surprised when my HFT torque wrench tightened bolts to the exact same tightnesses his Craftsman torque wrench did.

Torque wrench needed on flywheel?
My torque wrench only goes to 80lbs. Has anyone installed clutch and fly without tw? Will it work or will I have an uneven fly/clutch?
