Wrangler Haven Try it my way and report back. And just because you suddenly don't see anymore air bubbles don't stop. Keep going a few more times and be certain. There must be NO air in that line whatsoever.
Also, make sure your bleeder screw is not leaking air back into the line after it's closed. I just installed a new slave in one of my Wranglers that had a leaky bleeder screw.

cakes567 I was doing it like how you would bleed brakes. Have someone pump it a bunch of times... hold it on the floor.. crack bleeder... and repeat checking the fluid level every time. Is that a way to do it or is the way you said the right way?

Wrangler Haven That is not common, no. Are you sure you are bleeding it properly? You need to open the bleeder screw, depress & hold the pedal to the floor, close bleeder screw, then release pedal. Repeat until air stops coming out. Check the Master Cylinder each time and add fluid if needed. It must not run out or you'll have to start all over again.

presser loss in clutch.

I replaced the clutch and slave cylinder and I've bleed it like 4 times. I'll drive for a while start to lose the clutch. Bleed it again and it keeps doing that! Is this common? What's going on?
