Jeep issues, Hard Starting
I got back into my jeep. It's a TJ 97 SE 4cyl 2.5. Has just barely over 100k. It's having troubling starting and I saw it wight be due to a valve letting gas out. Let me explain. I have to crank it for 3-5 seconds before it turns over. This is from a cold start or a warm one. Replaced the battery, the spark plugs with performance battery with 50 cc more on crank rating and plugs I went to Bosch performance ones as well. Die and oil change, also filled with premium gas as well as having Gumout fuel system treatment.
I must admit it does start a little better then when I first got it but each time I start it acts like I am trying to start it on a freezing winter day. I also tried the trick that was posted on another forum, which was put the key in turn it on but not start, but wait and buckle up then get situated then crank it over. But it still does the same thing.
Thank you for your help in advance.
