MILK93 If the play is in the tranny and not in the shaft you are gonna need a mechanic.

Busted Ujoints, bearings what?

Hey Guys.

So, I had some play in the front/rear driveshaft for some time.

I was told to check the ujoints, but they all seem great. There is no play between the ujoint and the holder, so i removed the driveshaft front and rear connected to the differential, and there seems to be play at the differential connector.

Recently a clicking noise started to occur which I believe is in the rear, i lifted both rear tires and put it in drive and could barely hear it. When I accelerate i can hear the clicking noise after i let go of the gas. If I step on it and let go right away, it starts making a loud knocking noise.

what could it be? ujoints seem fine so Im assuming it could be pinion or bearings?
