Advice needed - lift/tire size

I recently took my stock 2003 jeep wrangler sport offroading for the first time and had a blast. I had some clearance issues and realized how low my jeep looked compared to the newer jeeps. I'm thinking about how to get a couple more inches of clearance without breaking the bank or making the jeep hard to drive to/fro work during the week. i'm preliminarily thinking about getting a 2 inch budget body lift and bigger tires - mostly because i saw someone else with this setup and i thought it looked good. Any advice? Does the brand of the lift matter if only a 2 inch bb? Any advice on the size and type of tire? What's the biggest i can get without causing problems or looking silly. Should I go with tires that fit on my existing 15s or go with new wheels and tires? I'm leaning towards sticking with my 15s to keep costs down, but I read somewhere that it might make sense to buy wheels/tires from a rubicon owner that is looking to upgrade himself. But not sure if that would even fit. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, is there anything i should be asking that i am not? Thanks.
