Dextreme The front gear ratio has to match the rear. The other thing to find out is the lug bolt pattern...make sure its the same as your D30 and will fit your rims. Also measure the width to make sure its not a d44 out of a full size vehilcle or some other surprise.

will this axle fit my jeep?

I have a 98 to sahara and I want to upgrade my rear axle with a locker. I have two main questions about this axle. First question is can I modify this axle to fit my coil spring set up. The axle is set up for the leaf springs. Second question is will I have to change my gear ratio in my front if I upgrade the rear. I currently have the stock Dana 30 in front. Thanks guys.
