Ya Mike is a great guy. I just gotta get caught up on a couple things now that I am working more. Then I can get it all fixed. Right now.... Just being careful. Lol. Still drivable but I just have to be cautious on curves. And bumps. At 40ish.

If your heart can take it, Grand Canyon,Utah, Colorado up into Montana then Dakotas was one of the best rides I have ever done. Filled with national parks and it's like $20 per night for a spot.

She sounds wise. She has lived a full life. Sometimes as our parents kids we just got to listen and agree.

That's what my Grandmother did.

Told my uncle one morning. "I've been here long enough. I'm ready to go to heaven now. Visit me by 3:00 or I won't be here" He got there at 4:00 and she was already gone.

I wonder if they are giving up or deciding they want to go to the next level.

You and your Mom are in my prayers.

I bought a couple of Nema electrical cabinets a few years ago. I'm using one, 18" x 36" x 72" tall, for an armory. The other one, pictured, I want to put glass in the doors, add some legs, paint it and put it in the house for a gun cabinet.

XJ_Phil Ok, what I believe to be the very best advice I ever got, was from a man who had been happily married for some 50 years. He told me "if you want your wife to be the queen of your life, you need to know that she is, and treat her accordingly" She is, and I do. Our marriage just keeps getting better and our friendship stronger 22 plus years later. Needless to say, the strength of our relationship has spread to our children.

ELMOSYJ A shy asked me once.

When you leave the sheriffs department what will be your legacy ?

My response was my work how I do my work.

He responded why? Your just a number in the county. You think anyone will remember you when you retire? Your legacy is your family, your kids enjoy them while you can and while they are young.

Best advice I ever got.
