eton I hear ya, if I can ever get out of SC and work in Wilmington might be able to get something done! Do you have a shop / garage? I pull my work trailer to the house and leave until I'm done.... Took 3 weeks last go around.

Jedi Finish 2 possibly 3 axle swaps I have for side work then start the manual swap bumper build and long arm build for my ZJ. Those are my hopes anyway. We'll see how they play out. Hopefully better than the 1 ton swap on my TJ

eton Always...... I'm gonna be modding the rear taillights to be flush mounted , replace the soundbar and front speakers and eventually remount the sub somewhere... I also have an adjustable front tracbar that needs to go on.... whats everyone else gonna do?

10-17-2014 06:01 PM
Islander10 Just getting ready for winter, taking off the tube doors putting the top on and changing to smaller mud tires. Then parking it in the garage till spring.

eton Anyone avail over a weekend day near monkey junction to help me put the hardtop on? I'm being sent out of town for work so I can't do'll take as much time as lifting it and putting it on the tub, I can take it from there!
10-01-2014 06:55 PM
MikeLisa I apologize in advance if you see a white Rubicon with a winch and bumper and my wife driving for not waving. She forgets to till after you pass. She wants me to get a Jeep wave sticker to go on the mirror for those instances.

eton Did the tailgate mod from swag Offroad... I like having it open down, it was kinda a pita! It doesn't really work with factory sub like can make it work but you'll have to rebolt it into the tub. There are fitment issues for sure but there always is!

eton Heading to Freeman Park shortly if anyone is out and about....

If you see us feel free to wave twice

Freeman park is always good fun - it'll cost you 20.00 for a day pass - South end is also awesome and has better fishing, less drama etc... I believe its either 5.00 or 10.00 for a day pass there. Downtown Wilmington is big fun - historic carriage rides, great restaurants, raw bars (Shuckin Shack) etc.... there's a garage deck off of Market (next to The Shuckin Shack) thats very easy - first hour is free and additional hours are 1.00 per. Or you can park in the neighborhoods but it will be a little bit of a walk - takes me about 10 minutes to walk downtown.

eton Good deal, replacing the spark plug wires did wonders for my rig!
07-22-2014 11:05 AM
1987cherrypie Great news!!!! Took the cap off today and all te spark plugs and wiped everything down. Cranked her up and she was idling at 800 and I switched the headlights on and there wasn't even a hiccup in the rpms! So must have been an issue with moisture in the distributor cap or one I the plugs. But, of course I found some wires to be replaced (exposed and burnt) so off to tracing and repairing those now hahaha

1987cherrypie Alright well when I get off work as long as it's not raining I will go take it off! Thanks again
