|biggyb23||I actually bought some second hand tow hooks, from this dude that works for uhaul, on craigslist for CHEAP. hahah no im kidding, but that's shady! If you find the hooks and they still workout with your hitch (under the bumper) send me the pictures. Defiantly would like to see how you make it work! And good luck on finding those hooks|

|equinedanielle||I just went outside to get you a pic of mine, and a can't believe it. I had Uhaul put a hitch (under the bumper) for our upcoming move, and my tow hook is gone! I guess they had to take it off to mount the hitch, but didn't say anything. I need to go get my hook back now. lol. I didn't even notice that the hook was missing. I guess I need to work on my observation skills|

|biggyb23||Yeah i do like that idea. The only reason i went with tube hitch is its Max tongue WT is 400 and Max gross trailer WT is 4000. Not that im towing 4000 pounds haha. It just makes me feel more comfortable if its rated "higher". Most of the bumpers with hitches, like yours, are rated at 250 Max Tongue WT and 2000 Max Gross Trailer WT. But I guess your the one laughing now....since i have no room for tow hooks haha.|

That top method of mounting a tow hook is best.
So far as the trailer hitch goes, I use my receiver hitch all the time but it's not bolted on under the bumper as yours is. That reduces ground clearance & the hitch is likely to drag on the ground when you're offroad.
What I did was install a bumper with an integrated 2" receiver hitch which is at bumper height. When I'm not using it, I remove the drawbar & hitch ball so it doesn't get in the way of the terrain or my shinbones.
Like this one...

Rear Tow Hooks?
Ive seen and read about someone doing this Attachment 244687 .
Problem is, I have a trailer hitch installed. Attachment 244688 Attachment 244689 Really what im looking for is mounting ideas. I realize most of you are probably going to say..."take off that trailer hitch" hahaha and ive thought about that. But i would really like to keep it on, since im always moving and im defiantly not trying to remove and install tow hooks and trailer hitch when needed. I would rather have both of them on 24-7. Ive also looked into getting that hitch hook, but have read a lot of people saying not to use those things.
