blw2000 Congrats! Mine happened after a 2" lift, too. It's MOSTLY gone now.

Death Wobble

We have had the death wobble since we lifted the jeep about two inches. Finally got it taken care of. We replaced tie rods, track bar and lower control arm bushings. Total cost including the alignment was around 350.00 dollars. Got it on the highway on a part of the road that usually made it wobble. No problems at any speed up to 80 mph, we did not get it over that. Nice to drive again with out having to have a death grip on the steering wheel. Also put the lower control arm cam bolt in so you can have the adjustment if you need it. Donít know for sure which one fixed it, but it is done. The frt. end man that I had take care of me, said that normally it is the track bar that causes most of the problem. I know there are a lot of opinions out there but mine is fixed. Only thing left now is to get some new rubber.
