|71Triumph||Problem solved. Thanks everyone. I went to Autozone inspiration and bought a product called Irwin bolt grip. They Are 3/8 drive. Meant for rounded bolts. Pounced the 9/16 on. Bang bang bang and then used an extension on my socket and bobs your uncle. Bolt turned. Victory. Great product. For $25 I got a set of five of the bolt grips.|

|4X Junkie||vice grips are another option. If you had a welder you could weld a nut onto the rounded bolt then back it out with a socket.|

|ROBCAR||Yes, Your best bet is the cut the head off and get the hub out of there. Looks like you need new bolts anyways. Good luck with it. I am in NY and the rust issue just sucks big time.|

Front hub removal
Looking for advics. 97 wramgler. Passenger side. Bearing are bad and i am working on hub removal. i have a big issue. Please note uve done this same job on cherokees without issue. Here is situation. The 36mm nut is off. Caliper is off. Two of the three 13 mm bolts are out. Everything is very very rusty. Used alot of heat. Penetrating oil. Working carefully. But the third bolt head was rounded off by previous owner. I can't get a grip. I pounded on a half inch. No grip. I pounded on a 12mm. Nothing. So. Here is the issue. Do I cut the head off the bolt and pull the hub off? I have new bolts to install with new hub. Or. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to get a grip on the rounded head of the bolt!? Anyone ever cut the head out and have it slide through? Any advice much appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
