Jma20a do a search, there are several threads on how to wire your factory sub to your aftermarket headunit. and it has nothing to do with the headunit recognizing the sub.

sub not working

So i have the stock center console woofer in the jeep right? It worked absolutely perfectly until I put an aftermarket radio in. Now it seems as if the new radio will not recognize the woofer.. any suggestions on what I should do? The radio is a kenwood. im not sure on the model i don't have it in front of me.
