dawhitesJKU teflon, as well as machined wheels are easy to clean.

chrome as well as polished wheels needs a lot of attention (periodic polishing once water spots tend to set in)

the other colors (matte black/satin/gloss/bronze/etc) they all clean just like oem wheels.

and the more spokes u have, the more time consuming to clean.

Redduc99 I went with the 2013 Rubi wheels with the Mud tires. Very quiet and drives better than the goodyears.

nocibur2 You could look into buying a set of 5 2013 Rubicon take offs with the Mud Terrain tires included. Pretty cool wheels n tires & plenty of guys removing them with zero to very low miles. I think if you watched classifieds long enough you might even find a set for a heck of a good price.

If you think you are going to do some heavy offroading then you might be better off with steelies.

Good Luck!

Overwhelmed with wheel choices - help please!

I am a soon to be JKU Sport S package owner and am looking to upgrade the wheels. This will mostly be a daily driver however will be taken on some trails. I plan on keeping the stock 17" Goodyear tires. The Jeep will be in the Billet color. I'm wanting black (possibly with a hint of chrome), great quality wheels but am very overwhelmed with the choices. Satin, matte, gloss? What are the advantages/disadvantages? And then there's Teflon. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
