Beachcruiser If the rubber boot is really stiff and it's cold out, ...reverse is not a gear you use for very long, so the boot wants to return to 'normal'. Or if you have a body lift & didn't clearance the shifter.

But most likely, it's just the BA-10 on the way out. Mine did that for a year+ before I swapped out to an AX-15. I just held it in R when needed.

Tranny issue.

Ok. Aside from having the rotten peugeot tranny, can anyone think of what may cause it to pop out of gear in reverse??
