New Jeep Owner

I traded in my Patriot for a Wrangler on Saturday. I'll admit it was an impulse buy. I had always wanted one but with the kids I didn't see it as practical. Kids are older now, so I took the plunge.

Six speed manual transmission took a lot of getting used to. The manual on my Patriot was very forgiving, so I'll admit to having stalled a few times in the Wrangler. However, the manual on the Wrangler feels much more durable than the Patriot, if that makes sense.

When they took the roof off at the dealership the two of them and later a third had a heck of a time getting back on. Luckily for me they had stretched it out enough that when I tried to put it on myself I had no such problems.

I'm still getting used to the lack of storage space. It seems that the Wrangler makes the most of what storage space it has, but I'll more than likely need to get some kind of roof rack or something.
