RemoJK Can't Saturday, going to try and get my boat our for a little
05-24-2013 11:43 AM
Steveo33186 I have to work Sunday. I could go Saturday though
05-24-2013 10:29 AM
RemoJK Steve come out to the falls sunday and test out that winch!
05-23-2013 08:41 PM
GoldenSahara00 Heck yeah, and sounds good
05-23-2013 08:23 PM
Steveo33186 If/when I replace the engo line ill keep you in mind. When I do replace it this is what's going on it.
05-23-2013 08:18 PM
GoldenSahara00 I'll take your engo line

I need synthetic, my fairlead is about shot.
05-23-2013 08:15 PM
Steveo33186 I could buy 3. Any 9k warn with synthetic is over 1200. I do want to replace the engo synthetic line with line from master pull though.
05-23-2013 08:08 PM
GoldenSahara00 We can buy another whole winch and still be ahead money wise. I have no regrets. I have done a ton of pulls and hard ones at that. In other news I lost the 4 screw hole covers on the solenoid box while diagnosis the problem. Kinda pissed about that.
05-23-2013 07:58 PM
Steveo33186 Warn fanboys are another reason I didn't buy a warn lol. Also to get what I have from engo from warn would have been 3x the cost.
05-23-2013 07:54 PM
GoldenSahara00 Exactly. They have a lifetime warranty on the mechanical on there winches. I take care of the electrical and they cover the guts. Fair to me.
05-23-2013 07:49 PM
Steveo33186 Good that it was taken care of so easily and quickly. Having little problems that ate solved that easily with a winch at the price point of engo wouldn't bother me. That's one of the reasons why I didn't buy a warn.
05-23-2013 07:41 PM
GoldenSahara00 I emailed Engo and he had the issue diagnosed and a part sent out within 2 hours.
05-23-2013 07:40 PM
Steveo33186 Did you call engo directly or did you call who you got it from.
05-23-2013 07:32 PM
GoldenSahara00 No joke. Can you imagine it crapping out right after I lost the bead? I would have flipped. Tie rod, tire, and winch all down within 15 minutes.

Engo was very helpful, I am hoping you and marc never have issues like this.
05-23-2013 07:19 PM
Steveo33186 I read about your winch on Facebook. At least it happened at home and not on the trail.
05-23-2013 07:05 PM
GoldenSahara00 Good, I hope you can make it. Did I tell you my winch died the day after when I was respooling it? The brake assembly went. Covered under warranty so I am getting a new one. Hopefully go up late june early july after my jeep is done.
05-23-2013 07:03 PM
Steveo33186 Let me know when you decide to go again. I still need a reason to use my winch... I'm getting the contract for work on Sunday so in the next week I should know if ill be able to make the trip to Rausch creek
05-23-2013 03:49 PM
GoldenSahara00 Some more pics from the trip:

I nearly had the last climb on that rock, but the stock skid kept catching and the rear end would walk around. I'll be back up in a month or two after the tuck and axle swap is done, and plan to take it.
05-20-2013 09:50 PM
GoldenSahara00 I know what ya mean. I hate being lead cause no one ever gets any shots of the crap I am doing haha. Yeah that was right at the beginning on that trail we turned off on.

I don't even remember going over that one big rock. I went to school for photography and have a good camera and everything. It's I'm just never really thinking about taking a pic of what I'm doing. I'm not worried about getting over what's in front of me

GoldenSahara00 I did this and popped a bead. Drove home. I consider it a success
05-20-2013 07:45 AM
RemoJK Nice, I only lost a flare this weekend so I did good
05-19-2013 10:13 PM
GoldenSahara00 Good time today man, despite me breaking some stuff

05-19-2013 03:14 AM
GoldenSahara00 See you guys in the AM. I'm just getting to bed after the Tim McGraw concert out in burgettestown. should be fun tomorrow.
05-18-2013 10:07 AM
GoldenSahara00 Yeah... on my mind. I would rather they be on my jeep. I have some local guys to help me w/ tools and I can do most of it myself for cheap so it's helping me get more done.

I wana beef a 40, but the 30 is just so much cheaper, and therefore quicker, to get setup. I will have 37s too so it's either a full bore 30 or a good d44. I almost snagged chromos for a few hundred but didn't get them.

I'm down with cuttin trails, I'll talk to my guys after we take this trip and they will probably want to come too, we will figure something out.
05-18-2013 07:46 AM
RemoJK Damn saharah sounds like you got a bunch of mods on your mind lol. We should get something together and cut some trails with Scott. I coul only do weekend cause that's a far drive for me.
I say skip the 30 and beef up a 44!!! Haha I've been trying to find a front 44 from rubi jk but people think those things are plated in gold. I want 37's but I don't Want to chance it with my d30. I've broken enough with 35's (measure to 33's) so going up to 37's has me nervous.

Steve I seem what you said about scrubgrass and how we had to back up that quad trail. That was a rough day lol
