LOL, that's kind of funny. I guess you can't have any rocker panel damage from the rocks if the rocker panel isn't even there. What do you plan on putting there in its place? Boatsides?

Man, with the rain, it should make for some good mud/good times at TSF this weekend. I hope you put your skid plates and rocker guards back on the YJ.
I'd love to go myself, but there's a four letter word called "work" that I am stuck with this weekend...*sigh*
Catch you all later-

|05TJ2NV||I have the ARB deflator and onboad Air also. I wouldn't buy one yet until you see what each of us use, then you decide what you like. That's what is so great about groups, you can scratch-n-sniff before you commit to a purchase !|

As deflaters i use Rugged Ridge Tire Deflator Kit, cheap, quick, and easy.
Auto are great, once you get one tire down to the pressure you want you can set all 4 of your deflaters and air all 4 down at once. There pretty much set and forget. But once your finish check you tires with a low pressure guage to insure the tires are at the psi you want.
ABC is right i for got about the shovel and water during fire season. Probaly cause I carry it with me at all times.
Anymore question feel free to ask. There are alot of helpful people on this site.

|abc_was_here||I've also got On board air that anyone can use if I come. But a fire extinguisher OR a gallon of water is required during non fire season. When it's fire season you need BOTH and I believe a shovel. Auto deflators are nice my girlfriend got me smittybuilt ones and so far I like them a lot better than me having to deflate them, might be a little slower because there adjustable but still awesome.|

Ok so sorry to be such a pain but I want to be as prepared as possible. I didn't have any of this equipment so this will be the maiden trip for all of it.
The compressor I have is useless. It took 12 minutes to put 10lbs of air back in my spare. So I have the slime 2x portable tire inflator coming from Amazon. It will be here tomorrow.
Now I am looking at deflators.
Automatic deflators seem convenient but you have to "program" them each time you need to change the pressure depending on the trail right? Or is there like a universal tire pressure that works generally good for all types of trails making them a set and forget kind of tool?
Which do you use Banks?
Also, I think a fire extinguisher is required at TSF all the time?? I could be wrong.
Thanks again. I'm usually not this much of a pain promise. Lol.

|Billybaldin||I'm in!! And I'm a newb. Never been to TSF so this is perfect. Everything is stock on my Rubi except I have 34s. I have a CB radio and 2 recovery straps. I will bring water and food. I also need to pick up a permit. I assume I can get that at the Shell station. Is there anything else I should bring?|

5/19 TSF Run
While I have yet to get my ZJ wheelable I did mange to scab my YJ back together, long story. Anyway I havnt been wheeling in 4 months. So Im planning a TSF trip, wont be my normal hardcore run. So heres the info for anyone who wants to go.
Date/time: 5/19/2013 Meet 9am @ Gales Creek Shell Station leave by 9:30
Trails: Powerlines to, Firebreak 5, depending on group either take Cider Tree Back or run FB5 back and hit the back power line trails. We will be stopping and playing on the rock garden on the side of FB 5 for those who choose too and I might run the Upper Crusher.
Who Can come: Anyone is welcome to come. This will be a relax run 33's or bigger will do just fine. Stock can come but will have difficulties on a section or two of FB5 but theres bypass if you choose.
Last note Ive seen some post about newbies checking out TSF. This might be a good run for you try to make. As many on this forums know I'm experienced and know the TSF very well.
