CaptnGus Just saw your post. I don't have the Kentrol hinges, but I think I might try them out. I like the fact that the Kentrol hinges are heavy stainless steel. I like the fact that they are slightly over sized, to cover up the paint line from the old hinges. I don't like the fact that instead of the Torx head bottom screw, Kentrol uses a small nut. Also, my Jeep is black, and I don't know how the black hinges will look with the factory paint. I definitely don't like the look of the polished hinges. I'm not happy to hear that they scratch easily. Powdercoat should be very think and durable.

Black Kentrol Hinges for Wrangler JK

Anyone else have these ?? Just put mine on and I am surprised by how easy they scratch !!! Anyone else have this problem .... ?? Starting to wish I would have went with a cheaper hinge...
