|woansleftpeg||While I'm waiting for my Tuffy deck to come in so I can secure the amp, I'm currently running those exact same speakers directly off a JVC head unit with the same power. It's not bad; I'd suggest that you start there, and then add the amp if you think you need it.|

Should I get an amp with this setup?
I'm replacing the stock sound system in my 2012 JKU Sport with:
Polk db6501 (front and tweeters)
Polk db651s (sound bar)
JVC KW-NSX700 head unit
JBL GT-BassPro12 Ported and powered sub
While I don't need an amp to drive the sub what about the front and sound bar speakers? The JVC has a built in sub with 20w RMS x 4 (50w peak). I tend to drive with the top down all the time, mostly on highways. Tho I a few months, my office will be moving and so it'll be in city driving then. In either case, will the amp in the HU be enough for decent sound?
I have my eyes set on an Alpine MRP-F300 amp. Will that be overkill for this setup or should I bite the bullet and get it anyways? Then I need to figure out where to mount the amp.
