fuel pump

I know for a fact now my fuel pump is on its way out.
Every time I start the jeep it takes 2 times to start it.
It cranks for a long time on the first turnover, and on the second one it finally fires off.

I bought a fuel pressure gauge from auto zone last night and connected it to my fuel rail.
when I turned the key to run and checked the gauge, it went from 40psi down to 20 psi.

When the vehicle was running the pump never hit 40 psi.

now it's just a matter of getting a new fuel pump and replacing the gas tank skid which is rusted out and needs replacing.
