I live in MI and this past winter, I had to pull over a few times on the way to work because my steering wheels was shaking so bad. I got out to look at my wheels and realized snow had gotten packed in between the spokes on my 7-spoke Sahara wheels and that was causing the shaking. I had to take a screwdriver I had to know the snow out.
Yeah we get a little snow in Northern Utah. I haven't had any issues with snow or ice building up in the wheels but I have had mud build up enough in the rims to throw off the balance.

You will love how the Duratracs handle in the snow.

eightshb Thanks an expensive option I guess they were on the jeep when I bought it. The tires were Goodyear T/A long trail (Street tire but same size as the Coopers I think dealer went with something that would keep it close to the stock 16" steel wheel and tire. Bought Jeep off the internet last June Brand new with 500 miles on it for $26,000 Sahara Tan

Those are different but look cool! I haven't seen those on any GC's around me.

Kssting Thanks. They are 4.5 backspace. With the 2.5 lift they work great.

Always a smart-ass in every group!

20's being a mall crawler is YOUR opinion and YOUR opinion does not matter to me WHAT SO EVER. It's MY money and MY Jeep, not yours. If you can't offer any advice, then get off my thread.

JEEPbug Anyone with 295 65r/18 Duratracs? Any rubbing issues on stock height? I have a JKU Sahara with XD addicts but on the stock tires. Looking at these when time for new ones (if its up to me that would be sooner than later).

I am looking at the 18x10 Moto Metal 962 with -24mm offset. But 20's are NOT out of the question!
Looking at pictures, the 20's seem to fit the full size pickup truck market better. The jeeps look smaller overall and 20's start to look too big for the body and size of it.
