ArmyWrangler101st Check you enhine mounts. I had a sound like that and couldnt figure it out then next thing you know I could only reach 5th and rev. Because mount busted and engine dropped. Good luck.

I was inspecting and paying attention to that area but it seems the noise comes from below the engine

Noise from engine when revs over 2500

Hey guys,

1998 6cil manual

I have been listening a new sound.. It happens when idle if I accelerate over 2500rpms or 1st or 2nd although it happens on ahigher rpm live 4000 I think it doesnt happen on any other gear..

I recorded the sound from the hood and also from inside to see if this is familiar to anyone
