WatchThis! Mine makes the same noise when pushing in the clutch while going down hill in 4L but I have never left it out of gear and let it cost so I don't really know if this is normal.

Need help diagnosing: "Clattering" Noise in 4L

Hey everyone -

I have a 2012 Rubi, 2 door.

When in 4L, neutral and coasting (i.e. if offroad and there is a smooth section and you just want to coast) any bumps result in this clattering noise underneath the Jeep.

It only does it in 4L and when neutral (clutch not depressed). Never does this in 4H or 2H.

Any help appreciated.
