TheDesertOutlaw Hints: Tie Rod ends loose - maybe the flange bolts are stripped - mine were.
Track Bar bushing could be bad, leading to shimmy and/or death wobble - mine was.
Swaybar links loose at the mounts?
Are your control arms nice and tight? Are their bushings in good overall condition?

Tweak 2 words. TRACK BAR

lay under the front of the jeep and have someone cycle the steering. look for any bolts moving.

oh, and dont fall for the steering stabilizer. I will give everyone in this thread $5 if that is actually the issue.

Evian How long have you owned the car? When did the wobble start? After changing what? What size tires do you have on? Were they balanced? When you changed your shocks did you change the steering stabilizer? Check all the bushing and U-Joints. If they are loose or moving replace.

Richey Could be a few dif things, worn bushings, tierod ends, steering stabilizer, wornout u joints or ball joints..have a look underneath and see if there is play in any components... Had a 97 that had the death wobble and tierod ends fixed it but that's not to say that's "exactly your problem".
