|XwXCHADWICKYXwX||I don't have any plyers so I took vice scripts and clamped em down on the screw and wiggled it out. May not have been the best way to do it but what's done is done|

I removed my fender flares from my Jeep to paint them. I didn't want to mess with the wheel well insert because I didn't think the plastic push pins holding them in would come out in one piece. My TJ spent a lot of time in the southwest with its PO so some of the plastic lost its pliability.
I bought a set of long needle nose pliers similar to this and poked it up between the panel and the wheel well insert. I "felt" around with the tip when it was up in there and was able to grab each nut while I spun the bolt. Getting the nuts out was easy enough, but putting them back in took some patience.

|JimsJeep||You probably have a nutsert spinning on you and most likely you will have to remove the fender liner to get to the back.|

need tips on rear flare removal
I'm in the process of putting on my new genright rock sliders and have to take off only the first screw on the flares to slide the rockers under them then drill the holes required to put them on. I got the driver side front and passenger rear one off but the other two just spin and don't move. There is what seems to be a nut on the inside of the front passenger that I'm working on but don't know what to do for the driver side rear. Any ideas on how to get them out?
