yoopone Joe at Tuffy in Batavia is real good on differentials, gears, auto trans, and lifts. You buy the parts, he will put them on. Great mechanic and knows Jeeps real well.

speedguy Ron at Autowerks did my AEV lift and tire carrier. Great work and service. I recommend them.

cahill4225 I bring my 2003 to Autowerks in Northbrook to get lifted and a bunch of other work. Ron and his people do good work. He's all in this website. I believe his having a jeep open house at his shop in the near future. Last update its scheduled for 4-20.

skullnbeer Nope. I do most work myself.
I have not needed any major stuff like re-gearing yet,so cannot recommend a good shop for anything.
Here are one I found with decent reviews.

LOCATE A SHOP THAT CAN DUE SUSPENSION WORK IN ILLINOIS
