|corvallisbattery||Just got the jeep back. New seal kit for entire vehicle.. no more leaks! The rattling in the trans has not been fixed, but now I'm questioning if it is even an issue. I drove at least 7 jeeps this week and every one of them made some sort of noise in the clutch/ shifter area. So I'm going to drive her around for a while.. keep an ear on things and go from there. They scuffed and painted all coated surfaces that were showing signs of surface rust. All in all.. I'm satisfied. If any issues didn't get corrected or new ones pop up... I know my dealer tried their best. Mark Thomas motors in Albany or. Even put me up in a loaner challenger for the week.|

Brought it to the dealer. They dropped the trans and are going to go from there. I had difficulty getting into 6th as well. Trans was low on fluid from the factory. The dealer thinks Chrysler will give them the go ahead on a new trans or a lifetime warranty on my unit rebuilt.
Bad throw out bearing
Underbody rust with 100 miles
Underfilled trans from factory
Rattle in shift tower
Pops out of 3rd
Man... I sold the Subaru to support the crumbling economy.. and buy a product that supported our country... hope I didn't make a mistake.
I will say that Chrysler and the dealer have been awesome. Even put me up in a loaner challenger. Will keep y'all posted

2013 JKR transmission/ clutch issue
Hey guys. Recently got a new rubicon, besides this issue I love it. First of all, I have an appointment first thing monday am at the dealer. So heres what's going on...
When at a stop, with the engine running and warm, when i depress the clutch I hear a "click, click, click" noise. About 20 clicks.. starts fast and slows to a stop and ceases to make the noise 7-10 seconds after the clutch is depressed. I'm ase certified and own my own repair facility. I thought... throw out bearing.. easy fix for em and a good chance to make a positive relationship with the service side of the dealership. But here's where it gets interesting...
With the clutch engaged and the clicking sound occurring.. if you ever so slightly nudge the shifter towards any gear the noise stops immediately. If you put it in gear... noise stops. So this has me thinking.. what if its the input shaft wobbling around? I crawled under the rig and had my gf operate the clutch (had a chance to take me out and didn't!) And the noise is def coming from the bell housing..
Any ideas? I'm not sweating too hard.. what are warranties for anyway?
