LunaticBunny should be fine to go on it before any grooming get done on it, but after that I could get some Sledders pretty mad later on. hehehehe.

Yeah we actually veered off the actual north star trail at some point and ended up on what was obviously a sled trail. In fact, we passed the NS sled club machines on the way, they had a shack and some big machines like graters or whatever.

LunaticBunny I do believe it is used as a snowmobile trail in winter when there is more snow.

LunaticBunny it was done in the summer just after a rain, big puddles and it torn it right off the front. I had a metal plate holder. Gone. ended up getting new plates. cheap fix $15.00

HAHAHA
That's funny cause I almost ripped mine off crossing that river.. I think some ice got underneath and bent it up, broke the stupid cheap plastic license plate frame from the dealership. Shucks.

LunaticBunny Oh and if anyone finds a license plate it belongs to me.

LunaticBunny I do like that trail, Been there a lot . Close to home. better when there has been a rainfall. yes there is a creek although it looks like it grew. there are other trail within this trail, but I don't know where. Let me know when you go again if I can I'll join the run.

Thanks for looking. The best I could manage is 180$ from Kal tire in Steinbach. Still better than the 350$ the dealership and every other tire shop wanted! Got a brand new one.

LunaticBunny did you find any tires? I have not come across any.

KamikazeKLR I think I've called every tire place in the city. They're starting to know me by name and saying 'You called earlier. We don't have your tire.'

Dammit.

Well, it's preferable.. I suppose the tread pattern would vary from brand to brand even in the same size, eh

Why? have you found something that will fit? If so, how much?

As for the RRJC, I havent gone on a run with them so I don't know how they go about their business. I suppose I'll find out this weekend! They're going to seddons on the 1st. Feel free to come, it's an open run

Then, we adjourn to the parking lot and go look at everyone's rig. Big ones, small ones, JKs, TJs, YJs, CJs, Cherokees... you name it. Plus, they have maps and GPS tracks on their website if you sign up (25$ lifetime).
Also very family friendly.

I hope that answers your question!
sounds like it went well. I went to one about 1 1/2 to 2 years ago, the group I sat with talk about a trail trip and sounded more of a drinking party than a 4x4 trail. so that put me off a bit. But who knows maybe it was the wrong time to go. They were also changing up the web page the meeting dealt with that.
the group members sound more friendlier too.

You should be able to find stock tires on Kijiji. thats where I found my summer tires for a really good price. I used the stock tires in winter and then put on 18" ones on for summer.

Also, when wheeling, I found that as a new driver it helps if you have a co-driver. So invite a friend! PM me if you're actually interested in wheeling sometime soon before the snow or want more info on the RRJC run.
Sweet I'm actually off November 1st! I'll try and find a friend who would like to go! I'll PM you my number, if you ever go out give me a shout! Thanks so much!
