Baldmtn I called the ranger station and they sent me a nice e-mail saying that there were miles of trails, mostly just dirt roads but a few creek crossings, some mud and a few nice trails worth finding. Still haven't made it down but I thought it was nice of the ranger to take the time.

qball73 These are probably more mud than anything, typical forest trails. Tons of 'em though.

qball73 I live about 3 miles from the Apalachicola National Forest. There are TONS of trails running all through it and there are numerous camping areas. Not sure what kind of trails you might prefer but might be something you would want to look into. Just got my ride so I plan on taking the kids out as much as possible.

Whats out there, there is not a whole lot in tampa, and only one place in ocala, is there anything in north florida or south georgia to take a weekend trip from tampa?

Pics would be great if there is any parks in that area
