RocknRick Yes, you need to get a permit $5 per driver. Think I found list of vendors on a site somewhere. Check on George Washington National Forest web site. There's camping in GWNF, too.

Camp

Where did you camp at when you went to Peters Mill Run? Also, is there anything i need to do besides just drive there? (like a permit or anything)

Haha yup. I drove 3 hours.... But it was fun. No trails are really near me, unfortunately.

1st Real Jeep Trail - Peters Mill Run - VA

Hey guys. I have a stock 2000 TJ, and yesterday I took it to Peters Mill Run out in Edinburg, VA to camp and trail through today. Since it's stock I was a little worried but it did great and I'm definitely going to be adding a lift kit and better tires soon. First real jeep trail; I've only gone on construction properties with a ton of mud and friends property with a lot of land to go crazy in. I'll hopefully have some videos up using a GoPro we duct taped to the hood, but for now here's some pics and a quick snippet of some frozen over mud puddles we went crazy in.
