danrb For anyone who didn't go I highly recommend this event. It was just so much eye candy. Thousands of great looking jeep. On one trip from Butler to the site I must of waved at over 100 jeeps and everyone looked better than mine.

As for the off roading stuff.

1. Mud pit. The 4 cars in front of me all got stuck, but I went anyway. Yep got stuck and had to be pulled out. Last I heard was only 3 vehicles made it through. I had to get out of my jeep to hook the tow line to the bumper. Opened the door and in flowed mud. If you ever do this need to think of an alternate exit. Still cleaning mud up. At some time during this I lost my front license plate. The worst part was my radiator was a solid clay brick after this and I kept over heating. Had to find a pressure washer to clean it out enough that I could drive home with out over heating. Still having problems, so this weekend I'm taking my radiator apart. Will never go in a mud pit like that again.

2. Second obstacle did the rock crawl The recommended 35" tires but I decided to try it anyway. My guide seemed a little green at guiding, so at the last wall of rocks to crawl, I up at a pretty good angle, but got high centered. Had to be pulled out of that one also.

3. Dirt track. Pretty cool. Nice off camber angles and we drove across two logs suspended. Nice drop at the end.

4. Trail ride. At first I thought they were joking that it was a blue trail, but then we hit the rutted out spot and yes got stuck enough for a 3rd pull. The drop off was pretty cool. Couldn't see the bottom, just had to trust that it wasn't a straight drop. Very fun. My car was overheating cause of the mud pit so this was the only trail I hit.

I can not say enough about the event. Talked to many vendors and was convinced of much by real vehicles. RK had a JK with 2.5 lift, flat fenders and 37 inch wheels. It looked awesome.

Ya. Too many cool jeeps to look at. I couldn't stay put. We'll stop by the vendors both and say hi.

What do I look for? The other Gecko green jeep? lol
Yeah, the only Gecko with an AEV tubeless bumper since everyone seems to buy the bumper with tube. If I'm not there, you can check the Little Jeepers kids cloths and toys both in the vendor area.
